Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before you book
Is the price per person or per boat?+
Per boat. One price covers the whole private boat with up to 6 guests and a private skipper — not per person. So a group of six pays the same as a couple.
What's included?+
Every trip includes a private licensed skipper, fuel, and prosecco on board. Curated experiences add their own extras — for example, the Romantic Proposal includes a professional photographer, champagne and flowers.
Where do you pick us up?+
We pick you up anywhere on Lake Como — Como, Cernobbio, Bellagio, Torno, Tremezzo, Varenna, or your hotel's own dock. Choose the boarding point nearest you when you book, and we'll be there to welcome you aboard.
What happens if the weather is bad?+
You can cancel for bad weather up to the day before departure and receive a full refund. If you prefer, we will help you move your trip to another day.
Is my booking confirmed instantly?+
Yes. You pay a 30% deposit securely online and immediately receive a confirmation email with a calendar ticket (.ics). The balance is paid on the day of your trip.
Can children come?+
Absolutely — families are welcome and life jackets are provided. Let us know the ages when you book so we can prepare the boat accordingly.
Can we swim during the tour?+
Yes. Most cruises include a swim stop in the clear water of the lake, weather and time permitting. Bring a swimsuit and a towel.
Do you speak English?+
Yes. Our skippers and the entire booking process are in English, and the website is available in nine languages.
How many people fit on the boat?+
Up to 6 guests plus the skipper — 7 people aboard. The boat is a Cranchi Turchese 24, a comfortable sporty cabin cruiser about 7.8 metres long.
Do I need to tip?+
Tipping is not required or expected. If you had a wonderful time, a tip for your skipper is appreciated but entirely up to you.
What should we bring?+
Sunscreen, a light layer for the evening, a swimsuit and towel if you plan to swim, and your camera. We take care of everything else, prosecco included.
How do we reach the boarding point?+
After booking you receive the exact meeting point with a Google Maps link. Most docks are a short walk from parking, the train station, or the ferry pier.
